I am a geologist-in-training with Tetra Tech Canada’s Arctic Group in Whitehorse, Yukon, and a northern-based additional trainee in the LEAP program. I completed my geology diploma at the northern based Yukon University before completing my Bachelor of Science in Geoscience at Vancouver Island University.
I joined Tetra Tech in 2017 and have worked on a variety of permafrost related projects. Recently I have completed site evaluations via testpitting and drilling to log and characterize permafrost and map areas of potential for permafrost thaw related movement. This includes projects in Mayo, Keno Hill, Old Crow, Haines Junction, and the Whitehorse area. My current permafrost related projects focus on residential/commercial development and mining.
I am excited to join the LEAP program and to gain a more in-depth understanding of permafrost and permafrost thaw
